There’s something truly magical about spring at Ramster Hall, our romantic, country house wedding venue in Surrey. The gardens are renowned for their collection of Azaleas and Rhododendrons, which burst into life in spring, the entire estate becomes a romantic backdrop for weddings – and Annie and Chris’s beautiful May celebration was a perfect example of that seasonal charm.
The couple chose to marry at Ramster Hall at a time when the gardens were at their most vibrant. The driveway was lined with striking pink Rhododendrons, delicate bluebells and azaleas coloured the woodland walks, and the lawns were lush and green – a picture-perfect setting that delighted guests and made every photo look like a scene from a fairytale.
Captured wonderfully by photographer Murray Clarke, Annie and Chris’ were fortunate to have perfect weather with a beautiful soft golden light that only a late spring day can bring. Their ceremony was held in the historic Great Drawing Room, followed by a relaxed drinks reception in the garden, before the party moved into the Long Hall. Before that the couple got some time to themselves to enjoy the tranquillity of the gardens and create some beautiful wedding memories with Murray.
We’re so pleased Annie and Chris chose to celebrate with us – it was a wonderful day, and we are so pleased they got to enjoy the timeless charm of Ramster in spring.
