Ramster Hall is renowned for its fairytale weddings with its stunning views, magical woodland gardens and historic charm. We are ideally situated on the edge of the quaint village of Chiddingfold which offers local accommodation and the charming market town of Haslemere which has boutique shops and a mainline train station. Our beautiful country house wedding venue is also in easy reach of Guildford, Godalming, Farnham.

Three Magnificent Halls for your dream Wedding

Our stunning wedding venue has a wonderfully adaptable and unique layout for a civil wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast,  wedding reception and evening entertainment. We can accommodate both small intimate weddings and larger weddings of up to 160 seated guests. Ramster Hall is surrounded by glorious woodland gardens and Surrey countryside which provide an ideal backdrop for wedding photos.

The Long Hall

A delightful and airy space for wedding receptions which accommodates 160 seated wedding guests. The traditional beamed ceiling is decked with fairy lights and elegant shades of champagne have been used for the décor to introduce extra sparkle and light to this gorgeous wedding barn conversion.

The Great
Drawing Room

A perfect set up for civil wedding ceremonies, it can be laid out in three different ways to accommodate 160 wedding guests. This majestic room, complete with a grand piano, overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful beamed, vaulted ceiling and panelled walls.

The Brick
Hall

The hall provides an alternative entrance to the Great Drawing Room and features a permanent exhibition of original paintings. This feature really adds to Ramster being a unique wedding venue.

The Courtyard
Garden

Guests can enjoy complete privacy of this pretty outdoor space which is ideal for drink receptions, canapés and wedding photographs. The Courtyard is central to the Long Hall Barn and Great Drawing Room.

Our magical 20-acre woodland garden has featured in magazines such as Country Life and The English Garden. It provides an unforgettable backdrop for wedding photographs. The garden is renowned for its incredible collection of azaleas and rhododendrons which flower in the spring, and its brilliant autumn colour.
