The Great Drawing Room

We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies which take place within the magnificent Great Drawing Room which adjoins the rustic yet stylish Long Hall.

This beautiful and friendly room can be arranged for any size of wedding up to 160 guests, either in a traditional layout with an aisle or in a horseshoe shape round the huge fireplace.

Every wedding ceremony is different therefore we can help you theme the room and create your desired ambience. Music can be provided by our built-in music system, or we can recommend one of our talented local musicians to play the beautiful grand piano or any other type of music that would complement your ceremony.

Once the ceremony is over, this room remains yours for the day and can be used for a drinks reception as a wet weather alternative to the Courtyard. It can also be set up as a cosy ‘chill out’ area for guests to enjoy whilst the evening entertainment takes place in the Long Hall.
