Choosing a wedding venue is one of the first — and most important — decisions you’ll need to make when planning your day. It sets the tone, shapes the guest experience, and becomes the backdrop to memories that last long after the celebrations are over.
Ramster Hall is a privately owned, family-run venue, combining historic character with a sense of privacy and ease, allowing couples to feel at home while hosting something truly special. The house and grounds are exclusively yours for the day, giving space for each part of the celebration to unfold naturally.
As a civil license wedding venue, ceremonies take place inside our Great Drawing Room, followed by dining and celebrations that move seamlessly through into the courtyard and The Long Hall. Each space has its own atmosphere, while staying connected, and can cater for small, intimate weddings to larger celebrations, from 50 to 160 guests.
Surrounded by 25 acres of woodland and gardens, Ramster Hall feels tucked away, yet it remains easily accessible for guests travelling from Surrey, London and beyond. The grounds provide a stunning backdrop for guests to enjoy and for photographs.
Scroll down to take a look through one of our recent Autumn civil weddings, photographed by the brilliant Scott Howard where you can see the stunning set up of the halls for a civil wedding, and a banquet style reception. Even though it was October, the wedding party were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces, and get some beautiful photographs in the garden.
The magnificent Long Hall, set up for the wedding breakfast with banquet tables. Catering was done by Event Catering | Tandem Catering, and flowers were done by the couple. All drinks were supplied by the wedding party, with a no corkage fee.
Our outdoor areas, from the beautiful entranceway, our courtyard, and the stunning gardens, were enjoyed by the wedding party despite it being October.
If you would like to arrange a tour of Ramster Hall, and discuss your recent engagement and wedding plans, Rosie would be delighted to show you around. Get in touch and we can schedule a visit one Saturday morning or a weekday.
